The Porphyrins and Phthalocyanines Materials research Group is directed by Doctor João P. C. Tomé, an Associate Professor at the Instituto Superior Técnico, Senior Researcher at Centro de Química Estrutural and Associated to QOPNA research unit and UGent. We are focused in the preparation of materials based on porphyrinoid derivatives and their applications. We have been developing work in the fields of medicinal chemistry, supramolecular chemistry and nanotechnologies.
